  • Dr. John TynesJohn Tynes, MD, FACOG, is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at St. Anthony North Health Campus (SANHC). Prior to his role as CMO, Dr. Tynes was the Medical Director of Women’s Health and a practicing OB-Gyn at SANHC and the Medical Director of Specialty Care at Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG). As Medical Director at CHPG, Dr. Tynes was responsible for practice development, physician engagement, quality monitoring and contract negotiation for specialty practices. In his role as Medical Director at St. Anthony North Health Campus, Dr. Tynes spearheaded quality improvement, service line expansion, and physician alignment for Women’s and Newborn services. Prior to moving to Colorado last year, Dr. Tynes was a Medical Director and a physician with Sutter Health in California.

    Dr. Tynes completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas Medical School. 

    Kevin JenkinsKevin Jenkins serves as the Vice President of Operations at St. Anthony North Health Campus, overseeing all operational oversight and day-to-day planning for the hospital. Kevin is a key member the St. Anthony North Health Campus executive leadership team and is instrumental in the development of future strategic and operational planning for the health campus and supporting ambulatory network by identifying new programming and services which increase access to care in the north metro Denver area. Furthermore, Kevin oversees the operations of emergent and urgent care centers across the Mountain and North Denver Operating Group of Centura Health (comprised of St. Anthony North Health Campus in Westminster; St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood; OrthoColorado Hospital in Lakewood; Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville; and St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco).

    Prior to joining St. Anthony North Health Campus as Vice President of Operations, Kevin served as the Vice President of Ambulatory Care for the Mountains and North Denver Operating Group of Centura Health since 2014. During this time, he was instrumental in the execution of Mountain and North Denver Operating Group’s ambulatory strategy and development of neighborhood health centers, outpatient health facilities comprised of primary care and subspecialty clinics, free standing emergency departments, and emergent and urgent care centers.

    Prior to that role, Kevin served as Vice President of Administration at St. Anthony North Hospital where he spearheaded operations for the opening of the new St. Anthony North Medical Pavilion (ED, GI Lab, Imaging Center and Multispecialty Clinic Space), in addition to the expansion and development of the new St. Anthony North Health Campus. Kevin has a proven track record of defining strategic direction, ensuring project execution and achieving organizational business strategies.

    Kevin earned his BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University Idaho and his MHA from the University of Washington. He is active in the American College of Healthcare Executives.


    Sister Patricia HaydenSister Patricia Hayden, S.C., a Sister of Charity of Cincinnati, joined St. Anthony North Hospital in 1992 and serves as Vice President of Mission Integration where she provides oversight for spiritual and pastoral services including clinical pastoral education, ethics, volunteer services, and healthy communities.  The mission of Sister Pat’s team is to respond to the emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve and to help people in our communities achieve optimal health, wellness and well-being.  

    Sister Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Mount Saint Joseph University in Cincinnati and a Master’s of Art in Theology focusing on Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University in Denver.  Sister Pat is a Board Certified Chaplain with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.

    Early in her career she taught middle school math and science where she developed an innovative departmental school system.  Additionally, Sister Pat created a new model of school administration where she was the principal of an inner city school in Denver. She was also the Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister in a parish before she began her career in health care.   

    Sister Pat’s love for travel began at an early age. Born in Canada, her father was in the USAF, so travel was a large part of her life.  Before college, she resided in ten U.S. states and lived in North Africa for two years.   

    Brent Davis

    Brent Davis joined Avista as Chief Financial Officer in September of 2013. In his role, Brent provides leadership and oversight of hospital operations, financial performance, and stewardship.

    Before joining Centura, Brent served as Director of Finance for Simi Valley Hospital in Southern California where he was responsible for financial operations including payroll, accounts payable, reimbursement, decision support, budgeting, and general accounting.

    Prior to his work in health care, Brent worked in the assurance and advisory business services division of Ernst & Young, LLP in Sacramento, CA.

    Brent is a licensed CPA in the state of California, a graduate of Walla Walla University in Washington and holds a Masters in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. He is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

    Leslie RusselLeslie Russell, BS, BSN, MS, is Director of Clinical Special Projects and Strategy at St. Anthony North Health Campus. Over her 10+ years at St. Anthony North, Leslie has held multiple clinical and leadership roles including Director of Perioperative Services, Director of Professional Development and Director of Service Excellence. Coupled with her passion for innovation, Leslie leverages her clinical, operational, analytical and business knowledge to facilitate strategic decisions across the St. Anthony North services areas and leads change initiatives across Centura Health’s six foundational pillars of finance, quality, people, service, community, and growth. Leslie has led award-winning initiatives at St. Anthony North including Planetree Hospital Gold designation, Primary Stroke Certification, Colorado Healthy Hospital Compact Silver designation and Baby Friendly Hospital USA designation.

    Through her research, Leslie has represented St. Anthony North locally, regionally, nationally and internationally on several strategic projects. In 2010, Leslie received the Do No Harm Award from the Colorado Patient Safety Coalition and presented her research on safe patient handoffs to the National patient Safety Congress in Washington D.C.

    Leslie holds two Bachelors degrees from the University of Colorado—one in Biology and the other in Nursing. In 2014, she completed her Masters of Science with an emphasis on Health and Wellness from the American College of Healthcare Science and currently is finishing her Masters of Business Administration with an expected completion date of December 2016.

    Cynda EklundCynda Eklund joined St. Anthony North Health Campus as the Director of Human Resources in March 2016. Cynda oversees all human resources at St. Anthony North Health Campus and its five neighborhood health centers, while also providing strategic leadership in the organization’s approach to talent acquisition, management, development and engagement. Cynda is especially dedicated to growing and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration at St. Anthony North Health Campus.

    Prior to joining Centura Health, Cynda spent more than eight years with Banner Health, most recently serving as the Area Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to that role, Cynda was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Sterling Regional MedCenter.

    Cynda has her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in Human Resources from Colorado Christian University.
