Paul D. Deneault, MD earned his medical
degree from the University of Ottawa in Canada. He completed his internship at
the University of Toronto and returned to the University of Ottawa to complete
his internal medicine residency, serving as Chief Resident his final year. Dr.
Deneault remained at the University of Ottawa to complete two fellowships,
Gastroenterology and Therapeutic Endoscopy.
Dedicated to sharing his knowledge with
others, Dr. Deneault serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the
University of Colorado. He is also a certified as a Fellow of the Royal College
of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for both Internal Medicine and
it comes to treating his patients, Dr. Deneault tries to “always deliver patient care in a friendly easy-going
manner as if I were treating a friend or family member.” His particular clinical interests include:
ulcerative colitis, crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and
Deneault was born and raised in Canada, and spent 20 years as a navy carrier
practicing throughout the world. He is married to a fellow Gastroenterology
physician, and has 3 adult children – an engineer, a CPA accountant, and an
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology, Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from the Medical College
of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the
Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Walker completed a
Gastroenterology fellowship at a combined program with the University of
Arizona and the Tucson VA Medical Center and finished the Advanced Training
Fellowship in Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Phoenix VA Medical Center.
Dr. Walker is devoted to the care of patients with diseases and
disorders of the digestive tract. His particular clinical interests include
celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), liver
disease, ulcerative colitis and irritable bowl diseases.
Dr. Walker is an active medical leader and
has previously served in an advisory capacity for numerous hospital committees,
as an American Cancer Society volunteer lecturer and volunteer
physician for the Phoenix Cardinals and Phoenix Formula I Grand Prix.
Dr. Walker is married and has three children.
native, Ashley Kramer, MMS, PA-C, received her bachelor’s degree in Biology
from Metropolitan State University in Denver. Prior to attending graduate
school, Ashley worked in laboratory medicine at Boulder Community Hospital for
nearly seven years. She received her physician assistant certification from the
Red Rocks Physician Assistant Program, in conjunction with a Master of Medical
Science degree from St. Francis University.
certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
and licensed with the Colorado Board of Medicine. Her special interests include
inflammatory bowel disease and hepatitis.
Sassen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from
the University of Minnesota. Her nursing experience includes time spent as a
travelling nurse with a variety of units before completing the nurse
practitioner program at the University of Southern Indiana. Brenda is board
certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life
She is a member of
Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
